We all see thousands of solar systems advertised on facebook and when we use google, especially if you are in the market for a system. Lets face it, it gets confusing. The unfortunate result is this:

Lets take an example of a medium size, busy home (or small business), usage is always higher as there are more occupants using power at the same time, you have computers, playstation, lots of lights always on 😁 and a dishwasher. Now you could try manage and control your usage and use a 5KW system but you would be running it in the ‘redline’ constantly, this is where the Deye 8KW Inverter steps in.

What is the ideal Deye 8KW Solar System?
The advantage of the Deye 8KW Solar System is that that components can be added at any time e.g. extra batteries or solar panels. The only MUST for the 8KW Inverter is a minimum battery size of 10KW ( i.e. 2 x 5KW lithium batteries), so if you see an advert with only 1 x 5kw battery, keep scrolling!.
The reason for this is quite simple, we know the Deye 8kw Inverter is powerfull so when you need that extra power it will do its best to give it to you, say you are busy and you are using 7KW of power and now you only have a 5KW battery, can you see the issue?
While there is grid power you will be ok as it will be taking the difference from the grid, what happens if there is a power dip or power failure? The system will try take power from the battery to keep suppling your home but the battery will go into overload causing the system to go into fault and shutdown. So now you are sitting with a great solar system in the dark, again!
Right, battery sorted, now your solar panel array size will depend on a few factors. The size of the batteries, remember they need to be charged, and then what power you typically use diring the day.
