Inverter Selection
When choosing an inverter take into consideration the output of the inverter. It is always advisable that the inverter is double the general power usage e.g. if your usage is genrally 2.5KW or below then go for a 5KW system.

Battery Selection
The battery selection is extremely important this part of your solar system is what runs your system at night and during outages. For good cost saving usage double the size of the inverter to suit the battery bank e.g. 5kw inverter and a 10kw battery setup.

Solar Panel Selection
Understanding your load requirements helps to determine the size of the solar panel array. Keep in mind that the solar panels have two demands. Firstly to replenish the batteries and Secondly to power the house. The size of the array will determine if both battery charge and powering the house can be achieved at the same time e.g. a 4kw array can deliver 2KW to the batteries and 2KW to the house at full power of the solar array.
