Complete Solar Systems and Installations. Solar Maintenance, Upgrades and Repairs.
It is commonplace for a solar or battery backup system to be installed outside the main building, for example if you have a house, it would be installed in the garage. This is great for regulation and safety. What we have found in our installations is during an outage you would not even know that there is an outage as the system is doing what is required.
On systems with limited battery capacity, they can easily have you sitting in the dark! We may not have scheduled loadshedding currently however there are still unplanned outages and maintenance. To help prevent you from sitting in the dark we have introduce a remote Indicator Light for Solar Systems (can also be used with Battery Backup Systems).
The Indicator Light for Solar Systems can be easily installed in an area within the house that, at a glance, the systems current state can be seen. With a glance you will know if the solar output is on and if there is grid (municipal) power available.
The Indicator Light for Solar Systems has been tested in different environments and has been extremely helpful in areas that do have more than average outages, especially at night. You could have it installed in the kitchen and while cooking dinner you can see that the grid power is off and know to reduce the power usage to increase your batteries runtime or perhaps investigate as to why the grid power is off. Without the unit you would not know until you hear an alarm from the system to say the battery is flat.
The Indicator Light for Solar Systems has two display area’s one side is “Green” indicates that there is available power from the system, the other side is “Red” and indicated that there is available power from the Grid (Municipality). When the Green indicator is Off and the Red indicator is On then you will know that there is no available power from the system but there is power available from the Grid. This helps with troubleshooting as you know to check the system first and see what the issue/alarm may be and you know that you can change to grid and restore power to the house if need be.
The Indicator Light for Solar Systems can be installed in a single location or more than one can be installed for larger properties. The unit emits a “cozy warm light” so that at night it does not become a nuisance of being too bright in certain areas. Unit can also work for a generator supply The unit will need to be installed by a qualified electrician.
